1. NGHEAN CUSTOMERS’ CHARACTERISTICS AND TASTES
With a population of nearly 3 million, Nghe An is one of the largest markets in the North Central Vietnam. Nghe an market can be distributed in to two areas: rural and urban. Urban customers are willing to spend a considerable amount of money on valued goods. They pay much attention to designs and like to follow fashion. In the city, demands for high quality commodities are continuously increasing. Meanwhile, in rural areas, first attention is to be paid to prices.
II. TRADE SITUATION 1. Export: Nghe An’s export strengths are agriculture, forest, sea products and building materials of which groundnut kernel, tea, processed pineapple, cassava, white limestone, garments and textiles, fine art wooden products, aquatic products, bamboo and rattan products, refined sugar are strategic export commodities. |
